On August 31, 2024, Jabbre Intercom and Xpress, a leading ride-hailing app in the Philippines,
partnered to conduct an “Introduction to Standard First-Aid” seminar for Xpress riders in
Bacoor, Cavite. This initiative aimed to empower riders with essential life-saving skills,
preparing them to respond to emergencies on the road.
Both Jabbre and Xpress share a vision of promoting safety and responsibility within the riding
community. With thousands of riders navigating the streets daily, having first-aid knowledge can
make a huge difference in saving lives — whether helping fellow riders or pedestrians in need.

The training was led by Dr. Alexandrei Amante, MD, DPCOM, RMT, and Nars Lagalag, a
certified nurse and Jabbre brand ambassador. Participants learned crucial techniques like
administering CPR, treating wounds, managing fractures, and responding to road accidents. The
hands-on approach ensured that riders left the seminar with practical, actionable skills.
Through this collaboration, Jabbre and Xpress are fostering a safer and more compassionate
riding culture. By equipping riders with the tools and knowledge to act in emergencies, they’re
helping create a community that looks out for one another. Stay tuned for more initiatives that
promote safety and unity on the road.
